- Buyers with a basic knowledge of HTML can alter the data
submitted to the payment processor and attempt to reach the
e-product / service access page by paying a much lower amount.
For example, by changing the payment amount from $100 to $0.01
- Direct
access of e-product / service
- If the success URL is visible, and contains the location
to download an e-product, or access the service, without access
restrictions, then the buyer can directly access the e-product
/ service without paying for it. For example, if the success
URL is visible, and contains the URL to the unprotected download
location of an e-book, the e-book can be downloaded by the
client without paying you!
- Securing
access to products / services
- Taking the above types of fraud into consideration, you
need to find a well-priced, web-based application to limit
